Community Clean Up
• Saturdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, September 26 and October 31
• All supplies provided
Zumba dance exercise (no experience required)
• Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, October 1, 8, 15, and 29
• Free to all QA members
• Wear comfortable clothes
Yoga (no experience required)
• Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, October 14 through December 17
• Free to all QA members
• Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat
Try out Pilates (no experience required)
• Hosted by Nice Time Pilates
• Saturday, November 14; there will both a 1:30 pm and a 2:30 pm class
• Free to all QA members
• Donations are welcome to support Queen Alexandra Community League
• Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat
Playgroup for parents and children aged 0 to 5 years of age
• Fridays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, October 2 through December 11
• Snacks and drinks provided
• Free for all QA members; parents must stay with their children and participate in the playgroup activities
UFO: Unfinished Object Group
• Tuesdays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, November 3 – December 15
• Free for all QA members or members of other community leagues
• Intended for sewists, but any makers are welcome
• Work on your unfinished projects in the company of others
• Irons, ironing boards, and snacks provided
Swimming
• Every Saturday, 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm
• Confederation Leisure Centre, 11204 – 41 Avenue NW
• Free for QA members; please bring your membership cards
Community Dance
• November 14, 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Following public and stakeholder engagement in the spring, the preliminary design plan was completed in September 2022. This project is not currently funded for construction. You can view the preliminary design.
